Red-throated Pipit (Anthus cervinus)
White-tailed Eagle (Haliaeetus albicilla)
Pipit with distinctly streaked breast and flanks. Adults with rich rusty red coloured throat, breast and supercilium. Males usually more red than females. Easily confused with other pipits when in winter- and juvenile plumage. Characterised by two whitish stripes on back, heavily streaked rump and flight call.
Sound:Most typical call a forced, drawn, slightly descending "zziiiieeet", with an accented ending. Other calls resembling Meadow Pipit. Song: Like a mix of Meadow Pipit and Tree Pipit, with typical staccato, and uneven rhythm (extra "beats").

CCDiagnostic flight profile with rectangular, uniformly broad and deeply fingered wings. Long neck and short, wedge-shaped tail. Bill very heavy and tarsus unfeathered. Adults with pale, yellowish head and white tail. Juveniles uniformly brown with dark tail. Females bigger than males. Flight pattern: Long sequences of shallow wing-beats, and only limited glides (as opposed to Golden Eagle).
Sound:A sharp high-pitched clear "klyytt klyytt klyytt klyytt" is often heard. Uttered with some variation in pitch and timbre. Sometimes more raucous and not so high pitched.
